V seti ed2k poyavilsya MR v1.2beta, rabotaet s Rhino otlichno, poýavilis'vozmozhnosti: color mapping, bump mapping, opacity mapping etc. Samoe glavnoe, etot renderer za neskol'ko chasov renderit pofig kakuyu scenu po slozhnosti: eto glavnoe otlichie ot absolutno vseh drugih productov... Po soobscheniyam proizvoditelya ispol'zuetsya technologiya Spectral Calculus, to est', svet rassmatrivaetsya ne kak RGB, a kak electro-magnitnaya volna i zaodno kak potok fotonov s opredelénnoy energiey, takzhe, kak eto vidit sovremennaya fizika... Vot tak... Eto vam dazhe ne renderman. Etot product proizvedet furor osenýu etogo goda...

ТО Alexander77: Насчёт фурора это ты сказал конечно... им над скоростью рендера ещё работать и работать - обещали что к релизу (а он кстати в октябре 2005) финальный рендеринг будет занимать минуты, пока я лишь завидую их оптимизму хотя по сравнению с v1.33 конечно и скорость возросла и качество это точно, если с каждой новой бэтой они будут делать его лучше и лучше, то мы и впрямь можем увидеть прорыв в рендеринге! я честно и сам хочу верить что всё будет как некстлимиты обещают, уж очень интересная вещица у них получилась (насчёт пофигизма к сложности сцены полностью согласен) ...кстати этот релиз от 15.06.2005 и после него уже было обновление до v1.2а (который я юзаю) где они пофиксили несколько багов... а ринолл 0.6.1 офигенно кривой, вот когда "заноза" доделает свой плаг под рину, сразу на него перелезу! ...насчёт осла что могу сказать, для меня это последний и далеко не самый лучший вариант, которым я пользуюсь если действительно чего то не могу найти, рекомендую заглянуть сюда http://www.3dcenter.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=29859 и как говориться "будет вам счастье"! фууу... ну я и понапИсал! ))

Environment dialog modified, now GMT is part of the city presets.
Added Region Render option to the Maxwell Menu.
Some initialization problems solved.
Note: Old materials will not be read by the new version. Materials from your older scenes will have to be re-applied.

So far I have not been able to repeat the material loss problem (and I tested with a mock-scene of 10,000 objects adding and deleting constantly). КАК ВАМ ЭТО НАРОД
Also the new material editor seems very promising. One good feature about it is the ability to dynamically highlight all objects that are associated with a specific material.
It will be out soon, possibly next week. I got it early so as to prepare sceenshots and stuff for the forum before public testing starts.
Of course there will be some glitches as well as known and unkown issues and thats where beta testers come in... please report anything you find ...
